Can someone please help me out here. I'm very new to modding and trying it out on RE5. I have pretty much got it figured out as far as weapons, gold, unlimited ammo, etc. Using RE5 Save Editor I am trying to play in story mode as Wesker and Josh Stone. I've tried changed the charaters id's in hex and costumes (i've tried several different variations and combinations. I.e subbing wesker for chris and josh for sheva and vice versa) Once i think i've got it i'll load my game to see that all my weapon and items added are present and then when i go to load a chapter it will freeze on the 'now loading' screen.

Anything would help and I would appreciate it greatly!! I've spent the last couple nights non-stop trying to play with these characters combo's. I gotta B-day coming up some i'm hoping i'll score some luck and somebody can help.

Okay if you are familiar on Game-Tuts/Modio, i am Dead By April and i have made alot of gamesaves, what you need to do is first delete the title update from your xbox, take your save and get the save onto your computer (savedata.bin) drag it and open it into HxD or any hex editor and the character id is usually located under Offset: 1055B and 105AB, theyre costumes are 1055F and 105AF, some of the IDs i have found are these Characters: 0 = Chris 1 = Sheva 2 = Jill 3 = Wesker (Wesker might need wp10 and/or wp29 loaded to avoid crash) 4 = Josh 5 = Excella? DLC characters do not work 6 = Barry?
